Smart Recruitment is proud to represent a growing manufacturing company with facilities across the world. Due to continued expansion they need to add to their Quality Engineering department, with the appointment of a Senior Quality Engineer. This is a permanent position, attracting a generous and competitive salary, plus benefits package, and 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays), and an opportunity to become part of a hugely successful global organisation. It is a 37.5 hour working week, Mon – Fri with an early finish on a Friday. The core requirement of the role is to provide an efficient and professional service to the company’s customers, and their manufacturing facility. You will use a range of quality tools and techniques in your pursuit of problem solving and continuous improvement activities Ideal candidates will have: 1. A degree in an engineering discipline, or a lower qualification with relevant engineering experience (apprenticeship trained for example) 2. Strong understanding of quality statistical models and metrics 3. Experience of quality tools and techniques 4. Demonstrable understanding of ISO9001, PPaPs, FMEA, Control Plan 5. Internal auditor experience 6. Excellent communication skills, for interacting with customers and suppliers 7.
