Overview
Quality Manager You will be working for a well-established business which pride themselves on creating and supplying the highest quality products to retailers and specialist outlets throughout the UK. As a QA Manager, you will be providing competent and efficient technical support and service to both internal teams and external customers to ensure that the product and service provided is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations. Quality Manager's Duties: Hygiene standards and verification Daily quality checks including: metal detection, weight control, product QAS checks, calibration, allergen control product analysis Internal audits - daily & weekly Customer specific requirements with regard to policies, QAS and due diligence testing are monitored and actioned To ensure all non-conforming materials are correctly identified, documented etc. Leading site BRC, 3rd Party and Retailer audits Participate in a root cause analysis, ensure corrective actions implement and the correct disposal of any affected materials Quality Manager Experience: Previous Quality Manager experience including exposure to: Quality Management Systems, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems, Product Crisis & Incident Management, HACCP Advanced and Allergen Management. Previous people management experience Strong leader who can motivate team, developing internal talent Must have retailer experience Good analytical and problem solving abilities Excellent communication skills capable of leading people through change Strong technical skills HACCP Level 3 Internal Audit Qualification Quality Manager's hours of work, pay and benefits Monday – Friday 8.30AM to 5:30PM (must be flexible) Onsite parking Pension - auto enrolment Salary - Up 48K DOE
