Transport Shift Manager A vacancy has arisen for a Transport Shift Manager, based at the Stonehouse Depot operating on our Milk operation. The role will be looking after the Stonehouse operation. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for the control of the collection, delivery and transhipment of the milk within the 4 sites that it encompasses The working week is operated on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12 hours 06:00-18:00) over 365 days per year This will involve managing the operation and implementing solutions to problems that occur during the shift and ensuring that the operation adheres to all compliance laws & regulations The role includes the collation and data entry of paperwork. This incorporates the daily completion of KPI spreadsheets and reports for our main customer Muller. Furthermore, in-house work such as tacho and timesheet analysis / mix telematics and control is also required Dynamic problem-solving capabilities is a must What will you bring? The successful candidate must be innovative and self motivated, capable of working in a high- pressured environment and as part of a depot team You should be well organised, have good interpersonal skills and an ability to effect change where required Experience in milk operations preferable but not essential Applicants should also ideally process good administrative and PC skills You must be proactive You must have a driving licence and a LGV would be advantageous A CPC would be preferable although not essential What do we offer?
