Overview
Quality Auditor / Quality Controller Huntingdon area Days based (will sometimes incorporate weekends – 4 out of 7 pattern) Up to £22k My client who is a market leading food manufacturer is looking for a number of QA’s / quality Controllers to join their rapidly expanding team. The key aspect of the role is to monitor, verify and report all aspects of quality through from intake through to dispatch. Responsibilities will include To inspect products on arrival to determine quality of the product, document and record findings accurately. Ensure any problem loads are dealt with in a timely manner and reported to senior QC/Manager To inspect and supervise the dispatch of product to customers, verifying all product meets the required specifications and labelling requirements prior to dispatch (positive release) Collect samples for residue testing and customer sampling as requested by the Technical / Commercial team. Completion of records around kit control, environmental monitoring, traceability etc. To ensure that all quality control weighing equipment is checked in accordance with the weighing check procedure and entered accordingly in the weighing equipment check record. To ensure that all QC equipment is maintained and used in the correct manner, and returned to the appropriate storage point at the close of shift. The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a QA / QC in the food or fresh produce industry. On top of this you will be hard working, accurate and keen to learn.
