E-Commerce Buyer
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a buyer to develop their career working with Suppliers to the Building, Plumbers and Electrical Wholesale Trade. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager. You will be responsible for · Working with the general manager, defining Trading Depots product offer · Daily Stock orders · Direct Customer Orders · Maintaining stock levels while considering sales and purchasing trends · Identifying new product opportunities · Purchase order management · Supplier management · Negotiating supply agreements Liaising with management team to select the correct stock profile and supplier selection following the best deals available. Awareness of market forces, changes in regulations and possible product shortages placing forward orders and creating schedules when needed. Skills required · A minimum of four years of experience in a similar buying role · A strong understanding of e-commerce · Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential in all areas · Good analytical skill · Experience of a computerised stock control system preferable · A proactive approach with a “can do” work ethic · Good & confident communicator · Good time management · A reasonable level of IT literacy including Excel and business management systems If this is a challenge you would enjoy please reply with your CV and a covering letter
