As Managed Services Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the quality and effective strategic leadership for Contracts. Specifically, giving advice and support to the commercial organisation to ensure the alignment and effective management of supplier contracts, customer contract development and negotiation, delivery of margin targets, third party savings, supplier and customer relationship management and dispute resolution. The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in procurement and managed services, commercial sales, supplier and customer relationship management. Main responsibilities as a Managed Services Contracts Manager: + Responsible for the quality and effective strategic procurement of products and services required by Abbott to ensure effective management of the unit, revenue requirements and supply contracts. + Responsible for developing and delivering the overall Supplier Strategy on a risk and category basis for a core supply base of 100+ suppliers and multiple peripheral and niche suppliers in order to streamline supply and support SME's. + Overall responsibility for Asset Management processes in managed service contracts (UNITY/ In house) for contracts, obligations, and reporting. + Responsible for escalations resulting from the daily management of managed services. + Responsible for achieving annual margin targets, savings targets of influenceable spend and fee revenue. + Responsible for effective supplier relationships on a category/spend/risk basis for global business to business accounts and local companies providing products and services into managed service contracts, not for Abbott suppliers such as Water, UPS, Indexor, IT, Logistics etc. + Provide consultancy expertise relating to tender processes, law, and contract expertise to the Acquisition team, Customer Experience team and to Customers to achieve VFM and overall cost reduction without affecting clinical effectiveness. + Leadership responsibility across a developed matrix organisation of multi-disciplinary functional units with accountability for all elements of contract and supply chain strategy, procedures, systems and results. + Responsible for managing the approval and governance process for strategic suppliers supporting Abbott for tender related products/managed service arrangements. + Support the delivery of all aspects of managed services provision and supply chain management to multiple customer contracts and sites across the UK. + Responsible for the collection and evaluation of Business Continuity plans for suppliers, and development and provision of risk assessments for Customers incorporating risk events. **Required Experience & Education** + University degree, preferably in Business Management.
