Overview
A strong and well respected international law firm are looking for a junior Corporate Lawyer to join its Leeds office. Upon joining this highly ranked firm, you will have an interesting and varied caseload consisting of both domestic and international work. Acting for an impressive top calibre client base, you will be advising on a mixed bag of corporate matters such as M&As, reorganisations, IPOs and other general Corporate issues. This is a great opportunity for you as a newly qualified corporate solicitor to grow and hone your technical skills as you will often be handling large-scale projects which can involve multiple jurisdictions with supervision and assistance when needed. You will be surrounded by first rate solicitors who are highly experienced and well respected in their sector and so this role will present endless learning opportunities for you. There is great scope for progressing in your career at this firm and you will be encouraged to interact with clients, and in time to get involved in BD and build a name for yourself within the market. Ideally, you will be newly qualified or at the most have 1 year PQE in corporate work to have the right level of knowledge/experience to undertake the role. However, this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant knowledge/experience.
