Overview
Position: Toolroom Machinist Toolmaker & CNC Salary: Competitive (depending on Experience). Location: Portsmouth Beacon are looking for an experienced Toolroom / Toolmaker & CNC Machinist for this exciting position with a Market leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth. Main duties / Requirements: CNC Turning & Milling. Manual machining including surface grinding & Press tools. Use of Heidenhain controls preferred. Be able to interpret engineering drawings. Use of applicable measuring equipment. Flexible, self-motivated & able to work as part of a team. The package: Hours: Day shift with flexibility with two options: Finish at 4pm Mon - Thu, Fri finish at 12 Finish at 3:30pm Mon - Thu, Fri finish at 11:30am Wage: Competitive (depending on Experience). Our client, a modern, high precision, niche company are on the lookout for an experienced Toolroom Machinist/Toolmaker with CNC experience to join their team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have experience of CNC Milling & Turning as well as Manual Machining. The preferred programming language will be Heidenhain for CNC. This is a great opportunity for a Toolroom / Toolmaker & CNC Machinist with an excellent rumination package. This Toolroom / Toolmaker & CNC Machinist position is also commutable from Havant, Fareham, Waterlooville, Cosham, Chichester, Hampshire & West Sussex.
