CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator with ISO programming experience for a forward thinking precision engineering company that specialize in the automotive and aviation sectors using the latest CNC machines and equipment. The company is adapting its work schedule to assist with the manufacture of medical devices and the riole will be for the forseeable future. The role will involve Programming, Setting and Operating Star & Citizen CNC Sliding Head machines with ISO Programming and responsibilities will include proving out CNC programs ensuring quality is maintained, programming on and off line and dimentional inspection using measuring equipment. Working on initiative and ensuring that accurate bookings for parts produced to ensure accurate deliveries and costings and working to the company 5s and lean manufacturing standards. A team player who can complete maintenance logs, demonstrate potential and an organized work area. Programming experience is essential, ideally with a Citizen or Star Sliding Head machine using ISO Programming and a good, solid background within the engineering/manufacturing sector. The company operate a double day shft pattern which alternates between early and late shift each week. A generous salary and hours from 39-40hrs per week with overtime available when required.
