Overview
Position: CNC Turner Sliding Head Salary: £14ph - £17ph Location: Portsmouth Beacon are looking for a CNC Turner familiar with Sliding Head machines using Fanuc controls for this exciting position with a Market leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth. Main duties: Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Machines using Fanuc controls. Maintain highest quality throughout the process, including dimensionally inspect manufactured product, using a variety of measuring equipment. To be able to work on their own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes. Be a team player, promoting and supporting a culture of continual improvement, 5s and Lean manufacturing standards. The package: Shift or Day’s Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 with early finish on Friday Shift: Day shift or double days are available Wage: £14ph - £17ph neg Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate. Pension: 3% contribution from employer. Holiday: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. Excellent modern working environment. This includes numerous multi axis CNC Machines with turning and milling capability, flexible Manufacturing Systems capable of working 24 hours per day.
