Our client is a well established Public Sector organisation based in North Liverpool is recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team on an initial 3 month contract basis wth opportunities for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have experience working within a varied Accounts role and be able to hit the ground running. Reporting into Senior Finance executives, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands on role and play a vital role in an exceptional organisation. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for: Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices Processing payments and allocating incoming cash Reconciling bank accounts on a daily and weekly basis Cash, cheque and online banking Petty Cash reconciliations Assist with month end processes Ad Hoc financial administration The ideal candidate will: Have experience working within a similar Bookkeeping role Be AAT/Part AAT qualified or studying (desirable) Strong IT skills and knowledge of financial systems Available at short notice If you have all of the above requirements for the Bookkeeper position, then please apply now using the link below.
