Internal Bookkeeper/Debt Collector - Liverpool Salary: 20K -24K with benefits The Company Our client is one of the top 10 Accountancy practices in Merseyside, offering a wide variety of value added services, advice and solutions to our clients in the Merseyside and the surrounding areas. The Role A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Group Bookkeeper / Debt Collector to join a top 10 Accountancy practice. This accountancy practice is a well-established business which also owns three other accountancy companies. The successful applicant will join the group’s welcoming and friendly team. Role Responsibilities: Assisting in managing day-to-day accounting. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Entering cash receipts on to CCH Paying invoices and expenses and entering on to Xero Reconciling bank accounts Preparing quarterly VAT returns for three of the practices Controlling cash collection and chasing late payments and liaising with partners Liaising with the partners in preparing year-end accounts Other administrative tasks Essential Skills & Requirements To be considered for the Bookkeeper role you must have at least 2 years of bookkeeping using the Xero software. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential: Extensive experience with data entry and record keeping/Bookkeeping Able to work on your own initiative An accurate, logical and concise approach to their work Debt collecting experience Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
