Overview
Growing business based in Birmingham is looking to add a Buyer to oversee the purchasing strategy. Your new company You will be working for a growing manufacturing business that is expanding its team and looking to recruit a buyer to implement the purchasing strategy. Your new role You will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing strategy for the organisation. This will include managing the direct spend for materials that will be used in production for the company. You will also be responsible for stock management and will be required to source new suppliers to ensure the most competitive price is achieved. You will be raising orders and chasing parts to ensure everything arrives on time. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed you will have previous experience within a procurement position. You will understand the manufacturing process and have knowledge of forecasting stock. You will have an analytical mindset and will be able to manage your workload independently. What you'll get in return In return you will receive a salary between £25,000- £28,000.
