Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Officer on a temporary ongoing basis in Streatham This role is to start immediately, please see details below: Job: Payroll Officer - CIPP Location: Streatham Start date: Immediately End date: Temp ongoing Job specifications may include but are not limited to: Payroll administration Responsible for the weekly processing of the payroll on People Planner Responsible for the checking of the draft payroll file from Trace for accuracy and completeness Responsible for the weekly payroll submission Responsible for reviewing the accuracy and completeness of the payroll Responsible for the uploading of the People Planner file to Trace Payroll for processing Payroll reconciliations Responsible for the completion of monthly reconciliations of payroll ensuring the payroll is fully reconciled for the financial Controller to upload to the Sage system Pensions administration Responsible for all change controls on pension scheme (leaver/joiners/amendments) To ensure that data is accurate, comprehensive and stored as required and in accordance with GDPR. Experience and skills: Studying for a recognised qualification such as Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals CIPP, AAT Experience of financial reconciliations Experience of a payroll processing and payroll reconciliations Experience in using computerised financial accounting packages Numeracy, accuracy. attention to detail particularly when posting transactions and using spreadsheets Good organisational and negotiating skills Highly competent in computer skills and use of Microsoft office/ in-house systems Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
