Overview

Reception & Office Assistant Part time, Mon – Fri, hours: 10:00-14:00 This new role is to support the existing HR by managing all front of house and office support activities. Responsibilities are including (but not limited to): Telephone answering, relaying messages, switchboard Preparing meeting rooms and managing bookings Receiving visitors, signing in, conducting site visitor briefings Coordinating large-scale meetings Travel and accommodation for overseas visitors Maintaining overseas visitors log Updating noticeboards, reception display screen Preparing refreshments for external meetings Uniform issue & stock control Locker management Catering and kitchen supplies Our client is looking for candidates with: A lean mindset; that all our operations can be easier, more peaceful and stable, and more efficient Proven team-working abilities; a co-operative, sharing approach, promoting harmony. Proven proactive communication skills; actively and openly communicating relevant information, listening well and considering alternative views and perspectives. Written and spoken English to business standard is mandatory. Ability to identify and understand customer’s needs (internal and external); focus on meeting those needs and ensuring satisfaction and a continuing relationship Drive to maintain high standards in your work, and encourage the same in others An aptitude for customer care is essential, as are strong administrative and organisational skills, however these skills may have been demonstrated in an alternative role.
