Overview

On a recent trip to one of my favourite clients who are currently occupying a beautiful establishment from the 19th century in the Borough of Bromley, they have asked me to help them find a progressive CTA Personal Tax Manager. They are a 6-Partner and 60-staff accountancy practice which has been established for over 30 years and has built long term relationships with their clients. They provide full services for their portfolio of over 800 clients coming from various industries and turnovers of up to £100 million. What impressed me was the aesthetics of the office and staff, interior design as well as very personal and friendly approach of the Partners. This is an ideal environment for a driven and ambitious person who wants to contribute to the team and who is seeking the satisfaction of making an essential impact on clients’ businesses. The CTA Personal Tax Manager will be responsible for around 300 personal tax clients including high net worth individuals, UK and non-residents consisting of more complex tax affairs i.e.: Capital Gains, Foreign income, Rental income, Remitted income and Self-employment income. Additionally, the role will involve STEP TRUST work, however this experience in not a crucial factor to be considered for this position. Main duties of the CTA Personal Tax Manager: Preparation of Individuals, Partners and Trusts Tax Returns Preparing expatriate and non-domiciled tax returns Advising on leaving and arriving in the UK Cross border tax advice Advising on property planning for buy and lets and second homes Inheritance tax planning Trust planning Managing and delegating weekly tasks a team of 6 Providing support and advice to junior staff members Requirements of the CTA Personal Tax Manager: Minimum 3 years of experience in a tax role within UK practice ATT/CTA Qualified Car owner Benefits: 23 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 25 after a year) 8% pension Free parking space Clear career progression plan even towards partnership Birthday cake of your choice for your birthday 3 annual events including Christmas Party and Year End Party ATT/CTA Personal Tax Manager £45,000 - £50,000 per annum Bromley, London
