Business Development Manager - Telecom Sales Glasgow £20K-£35k/Company Car Double Uncapped Commission I am currently recruiting for a leading provider of telecommunications and IT services to business customers throughout Northern Ireland and Scotland. Right now, they are looking to grow a dynamic team with a highly motivated Business Development Executive who has the determination to succeed in a fast-paced, performance driven environment. As part of the team you’ll be selling world-class products to small and medium-sized enterprises in three main markets: business mobiles, business landlines and business broadband. To be considered for this Business Development role you will need to have previous sales experience within the telecoms, an excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills and experience cold calling and winning new business. Business Development Executive · Previous sales experience within the telecommunication sector · Excellent telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills · Experienced in selling WAN, LAN, Fixed Line, unified comms, mobile and PBX · Target driven with a hunger to succeed and progress · Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment · Strong written and verbal communication skills · You will need to be confident and professional in front of a wide range of UK businesses · An ability to adapt and implement a consultative selling style with your external customers is imperative · Proven B2B sales background with a demonstrable track-record of success Main Responsibilities: Business Development Executive · Building and Continuing relationships with the key decision makers · Create a solution for that customers business · Keep all records up to date · Keeping up to date on all new technologies and market trends · Identify new opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell solutions · Managing your own territory, with a great network of support from your Sales Director and lead generation team · We need a candidate who is comfortable hunting down a sales target every month · Most of the new business leads will be generated by the in-house telesales department and it will also be your responsibility to drive self-generated leads, ensuring your pipeline is where it needs to be to achieve your monthly sales objectives · Working in the field often meeting 2 to 3 customers each day, you will be used to working under minimal supervision and will be required to have the commercial awareness to accurately price and bespoke the products · Any new business opportunities acquired will be your responsibility to manage on an on-going basis If you feel like you would be the perfect candidate for this Business Development Executive position or may be interested in any other Sales roles that I may have please click apply and one of our consultants will be in touch.
