Systematix is currently looking for a ServiceNow SME to help with the implementation of a diverse global IT Operations network, for one of the world’s leaders in Life Sciences technologies. ABOUT THE PROJECT Our client is one of the world’s leading Global Life Sciences, with offices around the globe. As they continue to expand their global footprint, they require a ServiceNow Administrator for their Shared Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in implementing standards and innovative solutions that support the success of our collaborative, science and technology driven businesses, specifically focused on the implementation, configuration and administration of ServiceNow. Your responsibilities in the role will be: Serving as a subject matter expert for the ServiceNow platform Configuring and customizing the Service Now system, including workflows, forms, security, notifications, and others as necessary. Loading, manipulating and maintaining data between Service Now and other systems as needed. Conducting testing, analysis, and certification of changes to Service Now. Maintaining and supporting ServiceNow operational functions; monitoring health, usage and overall compliance of the application. Participating in projects and support issues associated with ServiceNow applications, liaising with appropriate IT departments as well as associated vendors Supporting the Platform Manager to document, communicate and continually improve the processes and policies that describe the use and administration of the ServiceNow platform and applications Providing IT associates with technical training, support and secondary documentation for ServiceNow applications ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field Strong experience with ServiceNow platform administration Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, Release Management, etc. Experience with 3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow Proficient using MS Office products Significant experience supporting infrastructures and projects Experienced in enterprise operations where teamwork, communication, process and monitoring are key elements to success. Proven track-record of successfully leading technical implementations of new services as part of a project team. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a 6-month contract role located in Portsmouth, with a very strong intent to extend the contract.
