Overview
Pratap Partnership are recruiting a Part Qualified Finance Analyst for a large multinational organisation based in Pontefract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join theFinance team where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the business by supporting theworldwide logistics operation. The Job: The Finance team have a worldwide responsibility to support the management team to run a cost effective and efficient operation. AsFinance Analyst you will support nineWarehouses and threeInternational Hubs. Key areas of focus for the role are KPI reporting, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting and the requirement to communicate both successes and concerns to the Senior Management team. Duties will include: Report and analyse weekly and periodic performance indicators to support operational cost control Understand and communicate key cost drivers to support the cost focus process Production of the periodic management accounts for the warehouse operation Produce, review and forecast monthly balance sheets Prepare monthly cost forecasts and bi-annual budgets Conduct monthly finance reviews with warehouse site management Play a part in the medium to long term capex planning process Perform investment appraisals to support operational decision making The Person: Part qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) Previous experience is essentialpreferably with experience in a commercially facing finance role Excellent attention to detail with an analytical approach to solving problems Strong communication and influencing skills Proactive approach and the ability to self manage Enthusiastic and driven with a real passion for developing yourself Be able to adapt and keep pace with a fast moving environment Benefits: In return company offers an excellent benefits package
