Overview
Finance Manager Firefly are working with a IT and Services organisation in the Thames Valley, whom are looking to grow their Commercial Finance team due their recent high-growth. The role will be responsible for managing the finance operations team and will be responsible for the creation, implementation of procedures and KPI’s. Key responsibilities: Manage team and performance to approved procedures and KPI’s for wider finance teams such as AP and AR Maintain finance operations in accordance with approved procedures Ensure the team are maintaining performance standards and following procedures Management of business issues within processes Manage Escalations by team Set and report KPI’s for each area of Finance Operations to Group Finance Director and wider business Manage KPI’s with operations finance managers including maintenance of outstanding and pending items, examples include; accrued purchases not invoiced and sales orders not fulfilled etc Improve processes as part of Finance Management Ensure Team Ideal Candidate Managerial experience is a necessity, preferably AP an AR Qualified or Part-qualified finance professional preferred (CA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Advanced Excel modelling skills with the ability to understand key business drivers Ambitious individual pursuing a career in Finance/Accounting Good systems ability - able to learn new systems quickly
