Overview
A brilliant opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer looking to progress into 3rd Line support or for an experienced 3rd Line Engineer has arisen. With exciting plans for the new decade, my client are looking to grow their experienced IT team. You will be based in their Kettering office. You will be the most senior point of escalation and will deal with 3rd Line issues whilst also supplementing the other engineers on their 1st/2nd Line issues. These will be ranging from virtual & remote networking solutions, to Cloud migrations and to complex Infrastructure projects. You will be exposed to a variety of technologies, clients and industries and will be presented with a clear path of career progression. The opportunity to mentor and lead younger engineers is also available. Whilst a strong technical background is essential, you must have solid customer service experience. Future training will be provided to any engineers looking to complete qualifications and courses. Necessary Skills: Windows Server & OS Experience Strong Office 365 & Active Directory Experience Server/Network Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix) Strong Networking knowledge Desirable Skills: Experience building physical/virtual servers Cloud Platforms (MS Azure) Advanced Scripting IT Security (Firewalls, VPN's) Backup & Disaster Recovery technologies For any more information about the role do get in touch, or to be immediately considered please apply ASAP.
