Overview

Orion Group are delighted to be working with a well known organisation based in the Outskirts of Glasgow. We are looking for an experienced credit controller so significantly reduce aged debt over the course of 6 months, doing so should allow for a contract extension. You will be joining a busy finance team and working in a modern environment which has a canteen and free on site parking. The location of the role is accessible by public transport however it would be easier for someone who has a car. What is involved in the role: You will be first point of contact for all clients Liaise closely with insurance companies to obtain settlement figures and create payment plans Keep a record of calls, emails and progress Communicate regularly with debtors to provide payment options and timescales Liaise with line managers to report on progress and issues Deal with any debt disputes from clients Accounts reconciliations Data input on to MS Excel Adhoc tasks when required Additional information: 3/4 years experience in a similar role Ability to work in a team Any qualifications would be beneficial i.e CICM Experience of CRM systems and Excel Hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch Holidays are accrued weekly You should be available on a maximum of 1 weeks notice For more infortmation please contact / Our role in supporting diversity and inclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
