Overview
Embedded Engineer - C/C++ Abrecco have exciting opportunities for embedded software engineers ideally from a product development background to join our client's expanding team in West Lothian. You will have full development lifecycle experience using embedded C/C++, with good communication skills and the ability to form part of a multi function team and deliver complex electronic projects. Role responsibilities: - Work as part of a collaborative development team in a product design environment - Create engineering specifications and documents - Developing C and C++ code - Contribute to the development of digital electronic devices - Partake in design reviews - Work on a variety of new projects as well as improving existing products. Personal and technical attributes: - Proven embedded software development & design experience using C and C++ on Linux - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment. - Familiar with Microprocessor based design - Familiar with networking principals - Degree educated in a relevant computing or electronics subject - Excellent mathematical, analysis and problem solving abilities . This will ideally suit someone who is familiar with Microprocessors, embedded Linux and networking principals, who has excellent problem solving abilities and enjoys working in a small R&D team however can also work autonomously to meet deadlines.
