Overview

Consumer Additions are currently partnering with an International Consumer Goods business, who are looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join the team. This will be based in their Head Office based in Central London, working in a fast paced and ambitious finance team. The role will be focused on managing an existing team who are looking to go through a process of streamlining current processes and moving to paperless technology. This will ideally suit a people centric mentor, who enjoys being an active member of the team, looking for a challenge in a new environment. Key Responsibilities: Managing direct reports and responsibility for ensuring all invoices and credit notes are processed in line with service level agreements Managing weekly payment runs Managing and resolving key queries Completing and reviewing supplier statement reconciliations Periodic review of purchase ledger, identifying and managing risk Responsible for month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations Implementing financial processes and controls finance and the rest of the business Ad-hoc project work that may be required Key skills and experience Experienced AP Manager - managed teams previously FMCG, Retail, Hospitality or Tech experience ideal High degree of AP Knowledge including VAT, general ledger accounting issues and internal controls Logical, systematic and organised problem solver Strong communicator and team player with the ability to build relationships across the wider business Excellent organisational and time-management skills Stock experience essential Strong working use of Microsoft Excel
