Regional Service Manager / Technical Manager - UK / ROI An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Service Manager / Technical Manager to join a recognised global technology leader within the Document Management industry. US based company with longstanding UK presence require a Regional Service Manager / Technical Manager, to manage technician and specialist staff, supporting customers based in UK & ROI using their top quality products. Your job The Regional Service Manager / Technical Manager will manage a team of around 20 technicians / engineers and specialist staff, supporting a customer base, who use high specification technology hardware & software. Responsibilities of the Regional Service Manager / Technical Manager will include: Managing and reviewing service staff to ensure performance to the required levels, and that areas are managed effectively. Responsibility for shift pattern creation Be able to respond quickly and effectively to demanding situations Interacting with customers to ensure support to contractual service levels, including response times and preventative maintenance service visits. Supporting Sales, so equipment is optimally presented and marketed to potential customers. Liaising with accounts to ensure service invoices are presented and paid within required timescales. Job Requirements Ability to manage a team of technical / service employee's previously Must be technically minded on hardware products - medical equipment / high volume capital equipment UK travel & occasional nights away from home International travel on occasion - USA & EMEA Must be comfortable in customer facing situations & present themselves in a diplomatic manner Electromechanical and PC experience Ability to work autonomously Team Player Able to communicate at all levels Previous experience of managing a 24/7 operation would be beneficial Benefits £50,000 Region DOE High spec company car Private Health Personal Pension & Company Pension Contribution Mobile Phone 25 days holiday BH This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89875329
