Overview
My client is looking to recruit a Fabric Technologist with extensive knowledge of fabric testing across woven, jersey, print fabrics along with experience in dealing with the UK high street retailers and knowledge on sustainability. Responsibilities: · Submit and maintain base & bulk testing for customers’ requirements, liaising with internal departments, suppliers and customers. · Going through all customer manuals and testing requirements so nothing is missed. · Keeping up to date with Reach Compliance and relevant regulations. · To advise on fabric specifications, and where necessary make improvements to a fabrics performance to meet customers’ requirements. · Chasing relevant labs for test reports to ensure they are received back in timely manner, and dealing with any failures/ issues along the way.
