Overview

NRG are working closely with a public sector organization looking to recruit an Infrastructure Analyst. You will be responsible for the provision, management and support of the server (Windows and Linux) and backup environments (NetBackup). Responsibilities Include: Day to day management of the Server & backup operations, including but not limited to: incidents, problem management. Monitor, manage and maintain server and backup environments. Secure the server infrastructure by enforcing policies and monitoring access. Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, diagrams of Datacenter, Server Infrastructure. Working closely with partners to provision, secure and maintain the company's Physical Server infrastructure. Support, maintenance and administration of Active Directory Management and deployment of server operating systems updates (Patch Management). Management and deployment of firmware to physical servers, Windows, Linux. Required Experience: The successful individual will have significant experience working in a Server and Backup support environment or similar for at least 3 years as well as working experience with the support, maintenance and administration of Active Directory. Desirable Experience: A working knowledge of a number of the following technologies would be advantageous:- Splunk HPE Oneview ADFS AzureAD Powershell Scripting languages VB, .Net, Java Symantec ITMS (Altins) Please note: This position requires participation in the 24x7, 365-day, callout rota as well as Management Vetting (MV) security clearance due to exposure to sensitive information.
