Overview
Our well established and forward thinking client is currently looking for an Infrastructure Services Analyst to join their ICT department - Infrastructure Services team on a permanent basis Our client strives to maintain its strong reputation for delivering varied and innovative technology to fully empower its officers and staff to deliver an efficient and effective service. The successful Infrastructure Services Analyst (Server and Backup) will be responsible for the provision, management and ongoing support of our clients server (Windows and Linux) & backup environments (NetBackup) Your responsibilities will include · Day to day management of the Server & backup operations, including but not limited to: incidents, problem management. · Monitor, manage and maintain our clients server and backup environments. · Secure the server infrastructure by enforcing policies and monitoring access. · Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, diagrams of Datacenter, Server Infrastructure. · Working closely with partners to provision, secure and maintain the company's Physical Server infrastructure. · Support, maintenance and administration of Active Directory, ADFS2016 · Management and deployment of server operating systems updates (Patch Management). · Management and deployment of firmware to physical servers, Windows, Linux. · Server Configuration and operations management using Microsoft SCOM and SCCM Successful candidates must have been a resident in the UK for the past 5 years. You should also have strong experience of working in a Server and Backup support environment or similar role Other skills, experience and knowledge we are looking for: · working experience supporting on Active Directory including maintenance and administration · 3 years experience working in a Server and Backup support environment · Be able to participate in the 24x7, 365 day, callout rota. · A working knowledge of a number of the following technologies would also be advantageous:- Ø Splunk Ø HPE Oneview Ø ADFS Ø AzureAD Ø Powershell Ø Scripting languages VB, .Net, Java Ø Symantec ITMS (Altiris) If you feel you have the right skills and experience, please apply straight away Ponteland £25602 - £30951 Flexible working Strong pension and perm benefits This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89673938
