Overview

Risk and Assurance Manager Description This is a strategic, management role responsible for a £4bn in-house pension plan, developing and leading the risk and assurance strategy for the Plan. This is a new role within the team, and will be pivotal in assessing the Plan’s risks and documenting and upgrading the Plan processes. The role will also be responsible for designing and implementing an ongoing assurance strategy that meets the requirements of emerging Pensions regulations. As this role is new, it is likely that the activities and responsibilities will evolve over time Pearson is an equal opportunities employer. Qualifications Required skills Must have relevant pensions experience, DB, DC or ideally both. A risk management mindset, including a good understanding of the importance of a strong control environment and robust assurance framework.
