Accounts Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk (Trainee) | Liversedge | £18,000 - £21,000 Are you currently studying toward AAT and looking to join a professional business able to give you a broad range of practical accounting experience? Award-winning SME based in Liversedge, West Yorkshire, have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, intelligent and confident Accounts Clerk. You will have support from the qualified Management Accountant and Head of Finance and enjoy playing a key role in the transactional finance areas. Your initial remit will include: All aspects of purchase ledger including the BACS payment run. Bank reconciliation. Vat Returns. Assisting with month end tasks and duties. Managing supplier invoices and associated data entry. Basic excel reporting. As your confidence and understanding of the business and your role develop you will be given opportunity to undertake a broader and wider remit of accounting duties (alongside your ongoing AAT qualification). The business is seeking: Someone who has recently began AAT. Someone with a proactive and enthusiastic approach. An individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Someone with a good understanding of Excel. You will ideally have already gained experience of purchase ledger duties.
