Job Description

CMA Recruitment Group are working exclusively with a reputable company looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant into their finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this will be a busy, end to end role. What will the role involve? * Ensure that invoices from suppliers are processed and paid within their stated payment terms * Monitor statements of account from suppliers and contact them to clear outstanding items in a timely manner * Liaise with work colleagues to resolve disputed invoices and credit notes * Maintain the records of the Company's suppliers to ensure their contact details and bank details are correct * Manage the processing and payment of expense claims from employees * Report to Senior Management on any outstanding items payable at the end of each financial accounting period.
