Job Description
* Are you AAT Level 2 qualified or nearly qualified? * Do you have a solid understanding of Accountancy systems as well as Excel? * Is it important that you work closely with the team around you? If so, we would love to hear from you as our client is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their fast paced food manufacturing business. As this Plymouth based business returns to working in the office full time, ideally you will be AAT Level 2 qualified and be incredibly keen to join a company that prides itself on being all about Quality of Product as well as looking after their employees. Key responsibilities for the role of Purchase Ledger Assistant: * Ensure Purchase Orders are processed, and all procedures are followed. * Enter Purchase Invoices on to the Accountancy system, attaining all relevant authorisation. * Support the wider Finance Team with administration, and ad-hoc reporting when required. As the Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will need to have the following: * AAT Level 2 qualified or nearly qualified. * A proficient user of IT and Accounting systems including Excel. * Experience of dealing with multiple suppliers with a friendly yet firm manner. * Be able to work in a fast paced environment, work as part of a team as well as able to organise & prioritise your own workload.
