Overview
Butler Rose is pleased to be working with a reputable business based in Milton Keynes in the search for a Management Systems Accounting Manager. This is a 12 month FTC so you would need to be immediately available or on short notice to start. As the Management Systems Accounting Manager you will be responsible for managing a small finance team and overseeing the payment systems software and ensuring they are in working order, maintaining the integrity of the payment methods. Manage and lead a team of four direct reports Fully understand & manage the accounting controls for three payment type systems On-going testing of upgrades to the system, involving devising & writing test script to ensure changes are introduces in a controlled & tested manner Act as the Finance Subject Matter Expert on all related projects Support Head of Income & Cash Management with system year-end processes Attend Reconciliation Control Steering Group & provide Finance with an update on projects Business partnering activities with senior 'Head of' operational stakeholders Be the lead input into the development of controls to manage cashflow systems The role holder will ideally be highly experienced with financial systems development and implementation and have knowledge of working on ERP systems, with solid experience of working within finance. The candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of managing receipt of income, preferably in a large complex organisation. Also, the candidate must be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant.
