Senior Credit Controller Stand Alone Role Flexible Working £35,000 - 38,000 Birmingham City Centre Client Details The Credit Controller is responsible for the administration of the Debt Policy including investigating and escalating disputes, assigning and tracking actions to resolve and reporting on performance. The Credit Controller is a central contact point for the business and is expected to deliver services to a rapidly expanding business and make the best use of technologies to drive continuous improvement and customer service excellence. Description Manage delivery of the credit control function including contacting clients, investigating and escalating disputes Identify and assign owners to dispute resolution actions and drive progress to completion Provide weekly reporting on aged debt and disputes for review by the Finance Director and Executive Committee Oversee an outsourced finance service provider in issuing invoices and logging disputes Support continuous process efficiency's and improvements across the function, delivering maximum value and ensuring robust controls are in place Act as contact for external and internal auditors of debt and associated controls Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness Profile Good experience of accounts receivable and credit control processes Ability to communicate complex matters to a non-financial audience Ability to develop productive relationships and effective networks with stakeholders across government organisations Ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data Ability to find practical solutions to problems Good Microsoft Office skills Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team Available on short notice Job Offer Senior Credit Controller Stand Alone Role Flexible Working £35,000 - 38,000 Birmingham City Centre
