So, if you're talented, driven, creative, and hungry to bring something entirely new and wildly ambitious into the world (and have some fun doing it), then let's talk What you'll do: Support the general ledger month-end close process of US GAAP books ensuring all reporting deadlines and internal controls are met; Monthly production of month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation; Responsible for the intercompany recharges from the UK to the rest of the world; Maintain fixed asset register; Maintain and update monthly task lists and tracking schedules; Produce weekly bank reconciliations; Follow internal processes and procedures for executing against intercompany arrangements; Ensure SOX control procedures are followed and assist with audit requests; Prepare quarterly VAT and EC Sales List packs for local tax advisers to submit; Assist the Compliance Manager with the preparation of schedules for statutory filings and financial audits Participation in other ad-hoc accounting projects as required. Who you are: You are a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar); Have prior experience with inter-company; and multi-currency accounting; Experience with statutory reporting; Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS; Experience working with listed companies; Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Cloud; Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to build positive working relationships across the department, within different teams and at every level in the organization; Demonstrate good judgement and ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities; Self-motivated with an analytical mindset and excellent numerical skills; Able to work in a highly effective manner with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver exceptional, high-quality results; Able to manage a busy workload with conflicting priorities; Able to work under pressure while still maintaining attention to detail and most-effective controls; Personable and approachable with a hands-on and can-do attitude with no place for egos; Strong customer service skills and the ability to liaise across multiple international locations; You share our corporate values of Openness, Grit, Agility, Vision, Generosity, Full-Heartedness in everything that you do.
