Overview
We are currently looking for an Purchasing Administrator who holds experience with financial systems and practices to provide financial administrative support to the Payments, Finance, and HR departments in the Spennymoor area. The Role: To provide an effective level of Administrative and Financial support to various departments. To actively support the purchase-to-pay (P2P) process, complete and amend purchase orders. To process and control invoices. To set up Purchase Agreements To manage and administer purchase cards To effectively operate the Oracle system To manage risk registers To ensure timesheets are submitted by deadlines To liaise with external contractors To complete a range of general administrative duties such as managing a diary system, handling petty cash, arranging bookings and accommodation, attending meetings and taking notes, maintaining and updating various data systems etc. The Person: Must be educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration Must have previous experience in a similar role Must have experience in finance or purchasing and confident in using financial systems Must be an excellent communicator Must have a basic DBS If you do not hold a Basic Disclosure, you will be subjected to one upon proposal.
