Pharmacy Homecare Purchasing Support Officer Do you have a solid background in financial administration, purchasing or financial processing? Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust currently has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Homecare Purchasing Support Officer. This post is your opportunity to: * gain exposure to critical medicines homecare operations, and related financial systems and procurement processes * apply your financial administration / purchasing skills and develop your career * provide valuable support in ensuring NHS resources are used wisely in support of patient services. Reporting to the Chief Technician Medicines Homecare, your work in the Homecare Team will include:- * ensuring medicines pricing and other details are accurate, resolving pricing and supplier queries and discrepancies in liaison with homecare companies * update and maintenance of computerised systems necessary for the provision of homecare services, including ordering and invoicing data and stock transactions * liaison with clinical colleagues to ensure the continued provision of quality homecare and medicines purchasing services * production of financial reports and key performance data Your Qualifications: You need to be highly competent in purchasing or financial processing tasks, with a meticulous eye for detail, and able to turn round large volumes of work accurately to tight deadlines. Experience of working in a busy financial environment is ideal. The Pharmacy homecare team sits within the wider Pharmacy Medicines Finance Team.
