Overview
Perpetual Partnerships are working exclusively with a leading UK control panel manufacturer, who pride themselves on using the latest automation technologies to deliver best in class solutions enabling customers to achieve their business objectives. This is a company currently going through a period of structured growth and this position of Production Manager reflects their commitment to continuing this growth. The Role: Manage and oversee the whole production process. Meet production targets relating to time scales, quality and cost. Develop and improve the production process. Responsible for the procurement of materials. Full autonomy to manage and grow the production team, reporting directly to the MD. The Company: My client are a leading control panel manufacturer who supply into a range of industries including Rail, FMCG, Utilities, Building Management and Marine. This family run and family orientated company, founded in the 1960’s have an enviable reputation for quality and service. All of their production takes place within their purpose built manufacturing facility. The Person: Electrical Engineering experience, ideally from a control panel or machinery build background. Experience of leading medium sized production or manufacturing teams. Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes. Eager to buy into the company ethos of quality of product and quality of service. Genuine interest in investing your time in the company apprenticeship programme. This role would suit an individual who has experience in a production or manufacturing supervisor or team-leader position, looking to step up into management.
