Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing has a rare opportunity for a Production Engineering Manager to join a manufacturer based in Wakefield. Our client is seeking a proven Production Engineering Manager who wants to join a business that are stable and has a stellar reputation in their respective industry. As a Production Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for: Manage stocks of tooling and spare equipment Motivate your team and identify any training and development needed Promote Health and Safety Drive Continuous Improvement through the business Ensure costs are kept with budget Manage department investments and Capex projects Implement housekeeping throughout operations using 5s techniques Identify cost reductions Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences: Degree qualified Minimum of 5 years' experience within a management/supervisory position Solid Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing knowledge Ability to train and coach a team Effective communication skills and computer literate This is a rare opportunity for a Production Manager to be part of the UK leading manufacturer and work in a close-knit, proven team.
