My client is looking for a positive and enthusiastic Team Leader to join their Residential Children’s Home, providing a supportive environment for learning and development. The successful candidate will assist the home manager in leading, motivating and supporting a team of support workers to meet the needs of vulnerable Children and Young People. Children’s Home Team Leader Duties and Responsibilities: Undertake the day to day management of the household as directed by the home manager or assistant manager Offer professional practice support meetings to staff to complement staff supervision Encourage, support and guide members of the staff team Be the Key Worker for individual children Attend Case Reviews, Planning Meetings and any other meetings as required Undertake specific administration tasks within the unit as directed by the Home Manager Actively participate in supervision, appraisal, training, meetings & consultancies Maintain records as required Contribute to the development of the children and young people through the provision of a healthy life style To be alert to signs of distress or abuse and to ensure that the children and young people are monitored and protected and have their needs met ensuring that all safeguarding needs are met Contribute to care planning and the implementation of these plans Children’s Home Team Leader Minimum Requirements: Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent Full drivers license with access to own transport Ability to work shifts and Sleep-ins Must be over the age of 21 Minimum 1 Year crisis support experience Experience in leading a team Closing date: ASAP Contact: Neha at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
