Children's Social Care - Team Manager PO6: Starting salary 46,293 pa rising in annual increments to 49,203 pa incl. The Job: Our Team Managers are at the forefront of our offer: empowering, supporting and inspiring our social workers to get the best outcomes for children, young people and their families in Lambeth. First and foremost, people come first. We support our team managers so that they can support their social workers so that they can support the children and families in Lambeth. A Lambeth Team Manager is the leader of their team of 6 social workers, ensuring that the team is supported and all interventions being undertaken are purposeful, that risk is well managed and intervention is only undertaken when it is in the child's best interests. Our Team Managers are integral in enabling and energising social workers to do the best social work possible to deliver for our children. You will be accountable for the performance of your team and we have high expectations, but you will also have real autonomy to lead as you see fit. You will be responsible for running regular group supervision with a focus on consistently high practice and you can draw on the support of an advanced practitioner in your team who can help your social workers and can co-work the most complex cases.
