A privately owned manufacturer in the world of home security are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Coventry. As part of a bigger group – this 45 year old business who provide into the construction & system house world are looking to bring in a Project Engineer with the promise of full investment in the successful candidate who will be reporting into the Technical Manager. You will be the first port of call for the customers; so a full driving license is Essential to this role. A hands on approach to project management is essential to the role. A mechanical engineering bias in a manufacturing environment would be a great fit for this role. Role: Project Engineer Location: Coventry Salary: up to £28,000 per annum The Project Engineer role will be wide varying in responsibilities & skills, which include:- o A strong understanding of engineering methodology o Project Management from Cradle to Grave o Being a technical liaison with the customers o Generation of application Drawings for new products o Excellent communication skills are essential – you will work with all areas of the business o Knowledge of Route Cause analysis & an analytical thinker would be a good fit for the role o Experience in testing & validation will be looked upon favourably. The Project Engineer would have the following desirables:- o An engineering qualification to HNC Mechanical Engineering or Above o Strong competency with software packages – AutoCAD 2D or Inventor ideally o A full clean UK driving license o Ability to read and understand technical drawings o Experience in a Manufacturing Environment. o Practical hands on skills are an essential This role will provide a really strong basis for the right individual.
