Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join an innovative, family-run SME based in Coventry. As a Project Estimator you will be responsible for managing the tender, bid and negotiation process on a range of projects. Key responsibilities and duties of this role... * Prioritization of workloads across the team * Responsible for managing the implementation of standardized processes within the department * Managing incoming enquiries and re-prices * Review and updating of current estimating reporting system and development of CRM * Research and implementation of new estimating software to align with ERP system * Providing technical support to the Sales Team including sales visits during negotiation stages * Assist in price pitching projects based on where the project falls in the pipeline, who the client team is, number of unique layouts and risks that the complexity of project presents * Responsible for managing the submission of variations and receipt of Site Instructions * Preparation and submission of variations and breakdowns Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications... * Excellent communication and written skills * Experience working within an estimating role * Experience transferring from Excel onto an estimating software is desirable (not essential) * Experience within the Construction or Joinery industry is desirable * Good IT and numerical skills * Ability to use and understand ERP and CRM systems * Strong organisation and project management skills * Prior experience of managing staff desirable * Ability to work within deadlines and cope under pressure Benefits * Salary of 30,000 - 40,000 * 22 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays * Lunch provided daily * Parking on site
