Overview
Cryptographer / Cryptography Lead Engineer, London, £55-75k A lead Cryptographer / Cryptography Engineer opportunity with a remarkable VC backed cyber security start up in London who is harnessing the power of decentralised hardware authentication in building the last line of defence within Industry 4.0, smart cities, autonomous vehicles and IoT devices. You will be the lead Cryptography Engineer and be responsible for developing and growing hardware and software authentication and encryption products as well as advancing research efforts in the area of authenticating and securing communication in zero-trust networks and zero-knowledge systems and turning this in to commercially viable and reliable products to secure M2M communications across a broad range of industries. As a lead / senior engineer it is expected that you will have 5 years of commercial experience in a crypto-security role focusing on implementing and testing cryptographic systems to secure real-time computing, high availability networks and systems, ideally within Defense, Aerospace, Telecoms, Transportation or Critical National Infrastructure environments. Alternatively, if you approach the discipline from the Research angle, that too could work. This is a permanent role, based in Central London so you must be commutable, but with significant working flexibilities, particular during this turbulent time. Salary is commensurate with experience but £55k-75k is expected along with significant opportunities for career development given the growth nature of the company.
