Overview
I am looking for a commercial property paralegal to join a great commercial property team who are listed in the Legal 500. The firm are based in Coventry and are looking for this commercial property paralegal to join them on a permanent basis. As the commercial property paralegal in the team, you will be assisting on a caseload of quality commercial property work, acting for reputable businesses. About the Role Working with highly respected lawyers in the field, you will be gaining exposure to a range of sales and acquisitions, landlord and tenant and commercial & residential development. Roles and responsibilities: Drafting first drafts of legal documents such as leases, transfers, deeds and agreements Preparing the first draft of the report of title which may be freehold or leasehold; Dealing with the progression of files; Reviewing title and searches and raising enquires; Preparing and submitting SDLT forms Preparing and submitting applications to the Land Registry Liaise with existing and potential clients, and business contacts in a professional manner About the candidiate The ideal candidate should have 2 years' experience in commercial property as a paralegal. Ideally, you will have good academics. Candidates should be a team player, hardworking and not afraid to get stuck in. About the Firm You will be joining a great team where you will be able to gain exposure to a wide remit of work. There is also parking on site along with lovely commercial office space.
