Overview
Our client is currently recruiting for an M&E Supervisor to work for them at a corporate site in the Hammersmith area. The role is working days, Monday to Friday (7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm, 9am to 6pm and 10am to 7pm). They are an established FM company who carry out planned and reactive maintenance within a large office environment. The ideal person will have: - Electrical qualifications, with knowledge of mechanical and building fabric maintenance - Experience of working as a Lead Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor - Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload - Strong Health & Safety knowledge. Roles and Responsibilities: 1. To provide Client quotes with the relevant profit margins as agreed. 2. To control purchase sub contractor/costs for their region. 3. Respond to client requests and attend meetings when required gaining their confidence. 4. Manage engineers under your supervision. 5. To be part of the managers/supervisors on call rota system. 6. Site audits to be completed monthly. 7. To assist line manager with contractual targets (site visits, service visits and repairs) are being carried out. 8. Operate and conform to office/company systems. 9. Any H.R issues to be reported directly to Regional Manager. 10. To ensure that your teams paperwork reaches the office as requested and to the deadlines set. This includes your own. 11. To be available to attend internal and external meetings. 12. Understanding various office systems. We are looking for a person that has interpersonal skills, capable of answering the phone with fluent English language. PC literate, Excel. Can multitask and work in a varied and sometimes pressurised environment.
