Overview
Overall Objective To fill 100% of vacancies in line with agreed timescales, quality and performance ratios, building relationships with all Demanding Managers to ensure that their experience exceeds expectations. Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to work with the Recruitment Manager and wider Recruitment team to deliver a cohesive internal recruitment service across the Blick Rothenberg brand offices within the CogitalGroup business with a view to save agency spend and enhance employer brand. The Recruitment Consultant will be involved at every stage of the process from Recruitment planning, interviewing, selection, offer stage and on-boarding. It is vital you are able to display an aptitude in sourcing, screening and selecting top talent using a variety of platforms such as job-boards, LinkedIn, social media and networking. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities will include: Resourcing Build and develop strong relationships with the Recruitment Team within CogitalGroup, ensuring open communication and the two-way sharing of resourcing-related information Adhere to the Recruitment processes from request to offer Advertise all live vacancies on a variety of mediums including both internal and external platforms Screen and short-list CVs for all vacancies, improving the CVs to Interview to Hire ratios quarter on quarter Improve the ‘time to hire' performance quarter on quarter Organise interviews, ensuring that all candidates are fully briefed about the role and location prior to meeting with the Client Ensure that the Recruitment Manager is aware of all live vacancies and the status of each, escalating any hard to fill or issues to them for assistance Ensure detailed, accurate and meaningful job descriptions are received for all requests, where necessary, working with the managers to devise or enhance them in order to efficiently screen and hire candidates Source suitable applicants from direct methods including use of CV databases and LinkedIn Recruiter Ensuring all roles are formally approved internally prior to "going live" Review all direct applications to assess suitability Arranging "pre-screen" telephone calls with suitable applicants to establish basic information, experience and right to work in the UK before proceeding to face to face interviews Issue online testing and pass results to Hiring Managers for review Arrange interviews by reviewing Hiring Manager(s) diaries, liaising with the applicant, booking rooms and providing confirmations to all parties involved Managing interview feedback both from the Hiring Manager and applicant Discussing offer details for approval by Recruitment Manager and Hiring Manager Delivering verbal offers and collating information for on-boarding process Regular contact with the team to maintain internal tracker and ensure current status of each role is communicated Report internal costs and savings to Recruitment Manager Alongside the Recruitment Manager, build a talent pipeline of excellent individuals who would be interested to work with not only Blick Rothenberg but also the wider CogitalGroup Support the Recruitment Manager with appropriate careers and recruitment events Client Knowledge/Care Build and maintain information on Blick Rothenberg in order to better understand their business and requirements Visit the Blick Rothenberg sites at least quarterly to develop relationships with Demanding Managers and to increase business knowledge Work closely with all Demanding managers to ensure detailed feedback is received on CVs and interviews within 48 hours Keep all hiring manager contacts up to date with market forces, advising them on salaries and candidate shortages where necessary Candidate Care Ensure that the candidate experience in applying for a role exceeds their expectations Provide detailed and timely feedback after CV submission and interviews within 48 hours Adhere to the candidate care strategy including, but not be limited to frequency of contact, information provided, quality of feedback Ensure that all direct candidates are responded to within 48 hours Upkeep of the direct candidate database of those applicants who may be suitable for positions for CogitalGroup, searching against requests as they come in Where necessary, act as a point of contact through to start date for candidates who are successfully offered positions Supplier Liaison Work closely with the tiered suppliers, ensuring open communication, maintaining their commitment and co-operation Provide detailed and timely feedback on CVs and interviews within 48 hours Ensure that the candidates submitted by tiered suppliers is not already registered directly with Blick Rothenberg or has been submitted by another supplier prior to processing the application Requirements Skills and Experience Prior experience in a high volume white collar or professional services recruitment role (experience of finance would be ideal but not essential) Fantastic people skills - happy to communicate with any level in the organisation and can tailor communications and approach accordingly Builds strong relationships quickly Well organised and able to multi task Great team player whilst also comfortable to work autonomously at times Flexible in approach Good attention to detail Takes the initiative and is pro-active and happy to think creatively
