Overview

The Leasehold Collections Officer will be responsible for minimising arrears and increasing cash collection. You will provide the best service possible to leaseholders and freeholders, promoting a range of payment methods and advice. Client Details The client is a growing housing association in London. Description The Key responsibilities of the Leasehold Collections Officer will be; To respond to leaseholder, in person, via email and phone calls. To maximise all revenue streams to improve income collection rates To minimise the levels of debt To promote to leaseholders and freeholders the range of payment methods available. To investigate and to manage all breaches of tenancy until resolution. Profile The successful Leasehold Collections Officer will have; Experience of arrears management and a good understanding of complex arrears issues and legislation affecting this, including the litigation process. Sound knowledge and experience of leasehold management in a social housing or mixed tenure environment. Experience of representing Landlords in relation to breaches of covenant at the First Tier Tribunal (FTT) and/or the County Court. You will have worked in a similar role before. You will have sound knowledge of law and practical application in relation to leasehold, shared ownership and freehold properties. You will have a high attention to detail and a thorough attitude to your work and the ability to work independently on your own initiative and judgement.
