Overview

The role will include: • Working closely with the operations manager in support of trial preparation activities including system readiness, logistics, safety and security. • Providing engineering leadership through a challenging transition period as current systems are retired from service and new systems are developed and accepted. • Deployment with the radar systems to locations across UK and abroad as a member of the trials team where you will undertake installation and operation of the equipment. • Management and development of the preventative maintenance schedule and associated work instructions. • Working with the radar systems maintainer operator, oversee and support completion of all preventative and corrective maintenance and associated records • Ensuring systems continue to meet service requirements and the appropriate regulatory, legal, safety, security and other engineering requirements and standards The fit: The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer, able to demonstrate the ability to work with Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical system. You will be comfortable managing a diverse workload with minimal supervision, able to lead and develop a team of technicians. Previous experience working with radar technology is preferred, however we are open to applicants with transferrable skills/knowledge.
