The Role As a result of our continued growth and development, a superb opportunity has arisen to join our busy Planning Team. Applications are invited from dynamic individuals with a positive attitude who can demonstrate previous experience in a fast paced planning environment. Duties and responsibilities will include providing robust planning processes, enabling efficient information, communication and decision making pathways. Highlighting risks/opportunities and providing options or solutions to the team in order to assist the business and help drive continuous improvement within the supply chain function A dedicated and strong team player capable of supporting other members of the team as required ensuring the successful functionality of the planning or operational process. This is a shift based role: 4 days on 4 days off. Key Responsibilities * Support the Planning Manager and Senior Factory Planner in developing and driving improvement * Generate and maintain accurate and achievable daily production plans and schedules, in excel or Prophet * Communicate risks and opportunities early affecting the plan, coherently and facilitate the solution finding processes * With the rest of the Planning team maintain accurate production planning data * With the rest of the team maintain accurate planning models enabling rapid analysis of risks and opportunities in Excel. * Gain a detailed understanding of upstream, downstream and production processes. Enabling effective decision making and accurate assessment and communication of potential impact, opportunities and options. * Work with the operations teams to ensure they deliver the right product at the right time at the right cost. * Generate and maintain Operation and Planning KPI's, reports and data as required by the Planning Manager and Operational Managers. * Challenge and work with the team to improve processes which limit the company's ability to hit or exceed its target. * As appropriate work with the Supply chain team to assist them in getting the right material in place at the right time so that the operations teams can complete their works orders. * As appropriate work with the Commercial team to ensure that relevant information is communicated accurately in a timely manner to enable right first time delivery to customers. * Working with the Senior Factory Planner to produce accurate master production schedules (12 week window) Requirements * Able to prioritise tasks and use own initiative * Excellent communication skills in a business environment * Advanced Microsoft office skills * Strong numeracy skills * Able to remain calm under pressure * Has a "can-do" approach to work tasks, team and business goals Experience Required * A minimum 1-2 years planning experience preferred * A working knowledge of ERP systems is preferred * A working knowledge of MRP systems is preferred * A working knowledge of planning and forecasting * Degree level qualifications would be beneficial * GCSE Maths and English or equivalent * Planning or production experience within a FMCG * Polish language skills an advantage Benefits * Investors In People - Silver Award status * Company pension scheme * Development opportunities * Discounted leisure membership * Discounted vegetable box scheme * Cycle to work scheme * Free onsite parking * Approved training centre for Highfield qualifications * Rapidly growing company * Committed to Sustainability
